BIOGRAPHY

Conceived in Los Angeles, CA, with Indonesian roots and born in The Netherlands in the 70s.

Started playing drums and percussion at age of 9. Played in a Kiss Tribute band when he was 10 and joined a classical percussion orchestra conducted by his drum teacher Hay Beurskens (Percussionist: Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest) and toured the country.

At age of 20 he joined metal band Nembrionic Hammerdeath (later re-named Nembrionic). Toured the country and Europe. Released a couple of albums. Conquered some main stages like Pinkpop, Dynamo Open Air, Lowlands Festival, 5 mei festival Amsterdam, Mundial, Highlife Ahoy Rotterdam. Though one of the highlight gigs was in Paradiso Amsterdam next to Slayer.

Besides all that he joined a bunch of Tribute bands and toured all over the country.

In 2016 he joined a new band formed by Pete Lovell (old skool heavy metal band: Picture) called Lovell's Blade. That same year he joined the female fronted rock band Maggie & The Jar. Both bands turned to be a succes. Maggie & The Jar scored a hit in The Netherlands with Feel Me and in Venazuela with their protest song Ressurection. After two albums Lovell's Blade released their third Deadly Nightshade on April 1, 2022 and had more than 10.000 streams within' 3 weeks!

In the end of 2022 he joined the David Bowie tribute group Thin White Duke and did a couple of shows in The Netherlands.

Noel also plays bass guitar (in the Judas Priest tribute band Painkiller), some guitar, a bit of keys and is studio owner of Headvillage Studio.
